Our Colorado Springs 4Rivers Equipment location welcomed Colorado Assembly members Mary Bradfield (R) and Amy Paschal (D) to the branch on Friday, Sept. 26, giving them both an inside look at the essential role equipment dealers play in supporting the state’s infrastructure, economy and workforce.
By hosting an opportunity for these legislators to engage with us, they were able to gain a better understanding about the equipment distribution industry and the unique challenges presented in this business. Rep. Bradfield and Asm. Paschal were both able to see firsthand the industry’s major contributions to Colorado’s economy and learned about the needs of this type of business in the long-term.
4Rivers was also able to show the Colorado Assembly members how we’ve successfully partnered with local schools and training programs in our community to offer substantial career opportunities to skilled workers in equipment sales, service and technology.
All in all, this visit was a major step in continuing the conversation between policymakers and local businesses to help them see the important role that businesses like 4Rivers play in the economy and in infrastructure overall. 4Rivers is excited to continue being a Working Partner in building stronger communities, advancing workforce development, and driving economic growth.
Huge thanks to Jacob Asare, State Government Affairs Manager for AED, for providing in-depth background information and great photos relating to this visit.
