Rental Process and Requirements
Renting from 4Rivers Equipment is straightforward and easy. You can start by connecting with one of our sales representatives or our rental team. We’ll set up your account, complete a credit application, and request a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI). From there, we work closely with you to understand your application, the type of equipment and attachments you need, and the duration of your rental. We also handle logistics for delivery and discuss any training or support you might need once the rental begins.
Before delivery, we document the machine’s condition. When the rental ends, we inspect for any damage beyond normal wear and tear, top off fuel or DEF if needed, and finalize billing for any customer responsibilities.
To rent equipment, you’ll need a valid ID, a completed credit application, and a COI that meets specific requirements: general liability coverage of at least $1 million, auto liability of $1 million or more if transporting equipment, umbrella liability of $1 million or more, and physical damage coverage equal to or greater than $250,000 or the list price of the equipment. If you don’t have property insurance, we offer and require our REP+RLP coverage package (Rental Equipment Protection + Rental Liability Protection). A master rental agreement is not required, though some specialty machines may have additional terms.

Hundreds of attachments are available, such as buckets, forks, hammers, grapples, blades, compaction tools, and technology kits. With JDLink and other telematics, you can track location, monitor hours, and analyze utilization to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Transportation & Delivery
We make delivery and pickup easy. Equipment can be delivered directly to your job site, and you can return it to any 4Rivers Equipment location at the end of your rental. Before delivery, we document the machine’s condition with photos and inspection reports, including hours and mileage.
Service & Support
Our team monitors machines remotely and uses expert alerts to prevent downtime. We have factory-trained technicians available both in the shop and in the field, supported by a fleet of service and lube trucks. Throughout your rental, we partner with you to ensure a seamless experience.
Return & Billing
When your rental ends, we inspect the equipment, document its condition, and check fuel and DEF levels. Any damage or overages are billed on the final invoice or a separate invoice, and we strive to notify customers within 24 to 48 hours.
