CCA Unveils Center for Applied Science and Technology
The Community College of Aurora (CCA) unveiled its newest state of the art facility on Thursday, October 23. This building is the Center for Applied Science and Technology.
The Center was designed for the purpose of preparing students for careers of the future. This space provides hand-on learning for in-demand careers in construction, diesel power mechanics, cybersecurity, engineering and renewable energy.
4Rivers Equipment was proud to be a donor for this incredible new facility, contributing $50,000 towards its construction. CCA added a plaque mentioning 4Rivers’ donation to the school on the wall leading into the Diesel Power Mechanics Shop.
During Thursday night’s ribbon cutting ceremony guests spoke about the impact this new building will have on the community. Speakers included CCA President Dr. Mordecai Brownlee, Chancellor of the Colorado Community College System Dr. Marielena DeSanctis, and many more.
