4Rivers Partner Ty Weathers Competes at NWSS

A Colorado Tradition: 4Rivers Equipment at the 2026 National Western Stock Show
The National Western Stock Show (NWSS) is more than just an event; it is a 115-year-old Colorado tradition. From January 10 to January 25, 2026, nearly 700,000 visitors gathered in Denver to celebrate the Western lifestyle. For 4Rivers Equipment, this year’s show was a highlight of our Centennial Year, centered on our "Working Partnership" with the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Supporting the Future: The FFA Meat & Greet Connection
Our journey to the 2026 Stock Show began in November 2025 at the Colorado FFA Meat & Greet. 4Rivers is a proud supporter of the FFA, recognizing that the students showing livestock today are the farmers, ranchers, and innovators of tomorrow.
At the event, 4Rivers won the bid for a unique "Partner Experience" with Ty Weathers. We also participated in paddle raises across all categories—cows, pigs, lambs, and goats—to ensure that every young exhibitor who attended the Meat & Greet received the sponsorship and support they needed to reach the NWSS.
Ty Weathers & Theo: A Winning Journey
Ty Weathers and his steer, Theo, arrived at the Stock Show on Wednesday, January 21, after months of rigorous preparation. Ty is the definition of a well-rounded agricultural student, balancing a heavy show schedule with his passion for baseball.
Ty’s Road to the NWSS:
Proven Success: Leading up to Denver, Ty earned a Division Championship and a Reserve Overall at regional events.
A Growing String: In addition to Theo, Ty is currently managing a prospect breeding heifer named Panda and a prospect steer named Ted.
Family Tradition: Ty recently supported his sister in her own competitions, where he placed two heifers in the top five.
4Rivers: Your Partner in Agriculture
While we are known for our John Deere 8RX tractors and S-Series Combines, our involvement in the National Western Stock Show reminds us that the heart of our business is the people.
How 4Rivers Supports the Ag Community:
Youth Sponsorships: Through FFA and 4-H partnerships, we help alleviate the costs of showing livestock, from feed to travel.
Specialized Financing: Programs like the Zero-Zilch-Nada (available through May 31, 2026) allow families to manage cash flow for the equipment needed to run a successful livestock operation.
Local Expertise: Our Ag Sales and Support teams understand the specific needs of Colorado ranchers, from high-altitude engine performance to the best attachments for barn maintenance.
Why the Stock Show Matters (FAQ)
What is the Junior Market Steer Show?
The Junior Market Steer Show is one of the most prestigious events at the NWSS. It allows youth exhibitors to showcase their animal husbandry skills, hard work, and dedication. Winners often receive scholarships that fund their future education in agriculture or trade schools like CCA.
How does 4Rivers help students like Ty?
Beyond financial sponsorships, 4Rivers provides the "iron" that keeps a ranch running. Whether it's a John Deere Gator™ for hauling feed or a 35 P-Tier Mini Excavator for maintaining irrigation lines, we ensure the equipment is as hard-working as the students themselves.
Can I see Ty’s journey online?
Yes! Ty provided regular updates on Theo's progress throughout the winter. You can see photos and videos of their journey to the 2026 NWSS on the 4Rivers Equipment blog and our social media channels.
How can my organization partner with 4Rivers for youth events?
As we celebrate our 100th Anniversary, we are more committed than ever to local community support. Reach out to your local 4Rivers branch manager to discuss sponsorship opportunities for your local FFA or 4-H chapter.
Building the future, one generation at a time. Congratulations to Ty Weathers and all the exhibitors at the 2026 National Western Stock Show. We are honored to be Your Working Partner.
