4Rivers and the CCA Emerging Leaders Council Give Back

At 4Rivers Equipment, community involvement and leadership development go hand in hand. 4Rivers is an associate member of the Colorado Contractors Association (CCA). We’re proud to be part of a network that includes not only infrastructure contractors but also vendors, dealerships, and service providers. One of the most impactful initiatives within 4Rivers and the CCA is the Emerging Leaders Council (ELC). The ELC is dedicated to fostering the next generation of industry leaders under 40.
The ELC recently organized a volunteer effort at Easterseals’ Rocky Mountain Village, a summer camp facility that serves individuals with disabilities with “life-changing outdoor experiences,” according to a CCA news release. The camp had a deteriorating access road that made it difficult for wheelchair users to reach key areas, including a zip line. This effort showcases the collaboration between 4Rivers and the CCA.
Mobilizing Quickly
With just a month and a half’s notice, the ELC mobilized quickly. While full paving wasn’t feasible in that timeframe, the team completed Phase One of the project: grading and compacting a new trail using crushed concrete. The result? A much more accessible path for campers and staff, thanks in part to the efforts of 4Rivers and the CCA.
4Rivers played a key role, donating both equipment and manpower. A 324G skid steer, 325G compact track loader, and a Hamm H5 roller were hauled up to the site by 4Rivers, and Brett Campbell—Yard Coordinator for Frederick—was instrumental in operating the machinery and capturing drone footage of the project.
“A lot of us are salespeople, project managers, or engineers,” Frederick’s CCE Salesman David Romer, who was also instrumental to the event, noted. “We don’t have a lot of seat time in the equipment, so Brett was a huge help.”
Working Together
The project was a true collaboration. Kraemer North America provided a water truck, hand tools, and transport; Castle Rock Construction Company contributed a mini excavator, plate compactor, and freight; Performance Equipment provided a John Deere 210 skip loader and box blade; and Bowman Construction Supply brought perforated drainage pipe. Brennan Sand & Gravel donated 150 tons of crushed concrete and sent personnel to assist; Fiore Trucking provided 7 trucks and trailers to deliver material as well. Volunteers from companies including Kraemer, Jalisco Concrete, Iron Woman Construction, and others joined in to make the day a success. Together, 4Rivers and the CCA aim to enhance accessibility and community support.
The team hopes to return in 2026 to complete Phase Two, potentially paving the trail for even greater accessibility.
