The Northern Colorado Big Dig is a charitable event dedicated to supporting the American Cancer Society in its mission to combat pediatric cancer. Held annually, this fundraiser uniquely combines community engagement with a profound cause, offering participants the thrilling opportunity to operate heavy machinery while contributing to critical cancer research. 4Rivers Equipment has been a proud sponsor of the Big Dig for many years and plans to continue the partnership for many years to come! Last year, the Big Dig raised over $146,000 for pediatric cancer research (2023 Big Dig).
At the Big Dig, children and adults can experience the excitement of controlling excavators, bulldozers, and cranes under professional supervision. This hands-on activity not only brings joy and excitement to participants but also raises significant awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research. The event is further enhanced by family-friendly activities, including face painting, obstacle courses, and educational booths, creating a festive atmosphere that draws large crowds and maximizes fundraising potential.
